BRITAIN'S BEST SHOW BIKES WANTED

Today sees the launch of a new consumer photographic competition called Britains Got Biking Talent run by leading motorcycling magazine, MotorCycle News (MCN) and the UKs biggest motorcycle insurance specialist, Carole Nash (www.carolenash.com).

The competition will run to find the best bike from the British biking community to feature in the 2008 Carole Nash calendar which will be distributed to 150,000 bike fans nationwide. MCN and Carole Nash want people to upload pictures of their stunning machines onto www.motorcyclenews.coms Rate My Bike section to stand a chance of winning great prizes and having their bike immortalised in next years calendar.

Insure.co.uk launch a new biking initiative

The safe biking website has been launched by Equity Insurance Group, Hastings Direct and insure.co.uk, who provide motorbike insurance for around one in every three bikes on British roads. With these credentials, it is only right that we support the biking community to improve road safety awareness. During the coming months, we will be announcing a date for a Safe Biking Day which supports the government's THINK! motorcycle safety campaign, aiming for a 40% reduction in casualties by 2010. We are also supporting Ride to Work Day on 18 July, using the high profile day to emphasise the need to ride safely.
